Granola Bars

Granola bars are the perfect grab-and-go food for kids and adults. But the bars you buy at the store can be expensive and are not always good for you. Making them yourself will save you money and ensure they are healthy!

Makes: 24 servings

Ingredients
1 cup honey
1 cup peanut butter
3 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup raisins (or dried cranberries)
1/2 cup carrot, grated
1/2 cup coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Put the honey and peanut butter in a bowl and melt in microwave. Stir until mixed.
  3. Add oatmeal, raisins, carrots, and coconut to the bowl. Stir well, and let it cool until you can safely touch it with your hands.
